Pazhavangadi Ganapathi Temple enshrines the most powerful form of Lord Ganesh - Sri Mahaganapathy, the remover of obstacles and problems in life. Here all devotees wishes are granted; that too instantly. Visiting this temple gives you more positive energy to face any difficult situation in life. God Ganesha is enshrined in a seated posture with the right leg in a folded stance.
The most interesting factor is that the Pazhavangadi Ganesha Temple is being maintained by the Indian Army. The temple sculptures include 32 different forms of Lord Ganesha.
The main Vazhipadu (Offering) is the breaking of coconuts at the temple. Other offerings associated with Lord Ganesha like Ganapathy Homam, Appam, Modakam etc. are also performed here.
